SENTIDO launches new entertainment concept

Oberursel, June 2010 - With a new entertainment concept, the international hotel brand, SENTIDO Hotels & Resorts is expanding the sports and leisure time program in its 24 hotels and resorts as well as its two Nile cruise ships. The program, consisting of three modules, was created by international experts bearing in mind the requirements and demands of the guests, local traditions, cultural particularities and area conditions in the respective hotels. With this concept SENTIDO offers its guests, at no extra charge, a top-quality and professional sports program as well as readings, language, dance and cooking courses and a spectacular entertainment program. The choreography as well as the music for the “SENTIDO Daybreak” was especially developed for SENTIDO. This morning gymnastic session with elements of Tai Chi, Yoga and Pilates is now being offered for the first time at the hotels and resorts.

Body and Mind – the Day Beings with the “SENTIDO Daybreak”

 On the beach, out in the country or by the pool, guests can start off the day with the “SENTIDO Daybreak” every morning. Until early evening further activities in conjunction with the “Body & Mind” program are available for guests to select from: aqua gymnastics, jogging or power walking by the sea, step aerobics, Pilates, body work outs, exercises with the flex bar or the gym stick. Guests can find mental relaxation in the Yoga courses and in numerous wellness applications. Beyond this, all SENTIDO Hotels & Resorts have additional facilities such as tennis, volley ball and bocce courts as well as golf courses, diving schools and bike rentals.

Culture & Entertainment – the Vacation Country is in the Foreground

At SENTIDO Hotels & Resorts, high-level entertainment, the cultural connection with the vacation country and the establishment of social contacts to other guests are all writ large. Besides the evening show with professional dancers and singers or gala dinners at poolside with variety shows, guests can choose from a panoply of offers: as much as possible the spotlight is on the vacation country – for example in cooking courses by the pool, folk dancing seminars, cultural lectures, language courses, readings in various languages and an evening bazaar with local merchants. Family & Kids – the Vacation Program for the Whole Family

Parallel to the “Kids Club” available in many SENTIDO Hotels & Resorts, “Family & Kids” also offers joint activities for children and parents. The program includes, among other things, beach Olympics for family teams, beach scavenger hunts, poolside competitions, sand castle building, shell hunts, children’s cooking and handicraft courses and a joint barbecue by the sea. Fathers and sons can build their own fishing rods – mothers and daughters can make jewelry or get tips at a joint make-up course.
